Would your solution work on vinyl flooring? or would the laminate flooring solution work for this? I typically use a steam mop, should I not be using it on vinyl flooring? Thanks so much! I’ve been a fan for 8+ years

I do not recommend the Dupray Neat steamer. I bought one in June 2020 and have used a hand full of times as directed. I never misused the machine. I recently got it out to use and rinsed it out only to find chunks of stuff coming out. I contacted Dupray and they told me it is probably mineral deposits but because it’s been so long they would give me a discount on a new machine. You can’t see inside to see what might be going on and it worries me that maybe the metal is coming off and is in the steam as I clean. I would have expected much better for a $200+ piece of equipment.

In reply to Rachel. My preference is not to use steam on hardwoods but if you can regulate the temperature (which you can do on the Bissell), it’s most likely fine!

I use the Bissell steam mop on my hardwood floors. I read in the product description that this was acceptable before I purchased the mop. You mentioned it is good for tile and linoleum. Should I discontinue using it on hardwood?? Thank you!
