And for young kids I enforce hand washing but also keep a pump bottle of hand sanitizer in the sick station by the tissues. I set up sick station close to where they are hanging out. And the disinfectant wipes find a semi-permanent home out in the bathrooms for quick cleanup. Also sometimes temporarily replace hand towels in the kid’s bathroom with paper towels. And the sick kids and well ones use different bathrooms. The sick get their own bathroom until they are better and everything is fully disinfected. I have like I have spent too much time thinking about this!

Every night until they are better. Also, I started making “disenfect” part of my weekly routine. I take just a few minutes to wipe down points of contact and spray toys with my homemade disenfectant. I just started being diligent with that when my son started school this past fall and I definitely feel we have been healthier than past years.
