Where should you start? Here are 3 things you can do to help your home run efficiently and start to feel like it ‘cleans itself’.

Daily Tasks

Start with the Daily Tasks – add one a day for a week and you’ll see how just these tasks help to get you started. Simple tasks that you get in the habit of completing like making the bed, doing a load of laundry, wipe counters, etc. These are the real MVPs of the Routine – start here!

Weekly Tasks

Take the guesswork out of what to clean and when to clean it by doing the Weekly Tasks – Monday is Bathrooms Day, Tuesday is Dusting Day, etc. Start on the day you start – if today is Tuesday so it’s Dusting Day. Don’t try to catch up, just start! Friday is Catch-All Day and the day you can use to catch up if you want to or need to!

Declutter Regularly

Regularly declutter your home. Go through one room or area at a time and donate, recycle, toss, or relocate excess clutter. Clutter is a Daily Task – I recommend setting a timer for 10 minutes a day to get started!

Remember that creating a self-cleaning home is an ongoing process that requires consistent effort and commitment. By establishing these habits and routines, you can maintain a cleaner and more organized living space – if you haven’t already, join us in Homekeeping Society where we cover the full Clean Mama Routine in community! The Annual Sale for Homekeeping Society is November 1-15 – it’s the best time to join to make 2025 your best home year yet!  Use the code BESTYEAR for $40 off the annual membership PLUS get $400+ in bonuses!
